1. A refrigerator comprising:
an inner case that defines a storage space;
an outer case with an inside surface that is spaced apart from an outside surface of the inner case and that encompasses the inner case;
a vacuum space that is located between the inner case and the outer case, and that is configured to be sealed to maintain a vacuum state for heat insulating between the inner case and the outer case;
a getter that is located in the vacuum space and that is configured to collect gas;
a front cover that connects and seals front edges of the inner case and the outer case, and that extends across the front edges of the inner case and the outer case; and
a blocking member that is configured to perform a sealing function and to reduce a heat transfer rate between the inner case and the outer case, the blocking member being arranged at a front of the vacuum space and being configured to block the vacuum space, the blocking member including:
a first portion that is configured to connect with the inner case,
a second portion that is configured to connect with the outer case, and
a third portion that is located between the first portion and the second portion,
wherein the first portion is configured to contact an outside surface of a front edge of the inner case, and the second portion is configured to contact an outside surface of a front edge of the outer case,
wherein the third portion has an arch shape to increase a heat path defined by the blocking member, and
wherein the blocking member has a thin film shape.
