1. An engine component comprising:
at least one first loading zone, configured for dynamic loads arising at the engine component when the engine component is built into an engine and when the engine is operating,
a second loading zone, spaced at a distance from the first loading zone on the engine component and configured for dynamic loads arising at the engine component when the engine component is built into the engine and when the engine is operating,
at least one spatially delimited modification zone with introduced internal tensile stress formed on the engine component, wherein via the at least one spatially delimited modification zone, a crack propagating in the engine component is at least one chosen from guided to the second loading zone and guided within the second loading zone to avoid crack propagation in the first loading zone; and
wherein the at least one spatially delimited modification zone is provided in the second loading zone.
