5. A method comprising:
transmitting, by a wellbore operation controller and to a mediator computing device, a first broadcast indicating a first data topic desired for controlling a wellbore operation performed with respect to a well;
receiving a message from the mediator computing device originating from a data producer, wherein the data producer generates a data stream associated with a second data topic, and wherein the mediator computing device (i) determines that the wellbore operation controller is subscribed to the data stream of the data producer by comparing the first data topic to the second data topic, (ii) generates a data link between the wellbore operation controller and the data producer in response to determining that the wellbore operation controller is subscribed to the data stream of the data producer, and (iii) provides the message to the wellbore operation controller using the data link;
determining that the message is filtered or accepted;
in response to determining that the message is filtered, discarding the message;
in response to determining that the message is accepted:
extracting data from the message;
processing and consuming the data; and
adjusting an equipment control process using the data, wherein the data comprises micro-seismic acoustic data, the wellbore operation comprises a hydraulic fracturing operation, and wherein the equipment control process comprises forming the well, stimulating the well, or producing fluid from the well.
