13. A device, comprising:
a first portion and a second portion, the second portion defining opposing contact surfaces;
a hinge shaft that rotationally secures the first and second portions; and
first and second friction clips positioned on the hinge shaft and between the opposing contact surfaces, a first free range of rotation of the first friction clip is defined by either a width of the first friction clip or the opposing contact surfaces rotationally aligned with the first friction clip, a second free range of rotation of the second friction clip that is different from the first free range of rotation and is defined by either a width of the second friction clip or the opposing contact surfaces rotationally aligned with the second friction clip, and during the first free range of rotation the first friction clip is free to rotate with the hinge shaft and when contacting either of the opposing contact surfaces the first friction clip is blocked from rotation with the hinge shaft and during the second free range of rotation the second friction clip is free to rotate with the hinge shaft and when contacting either of the opposing contact surfaces the second friction clip is blocked from rotation with the hinge shaft.
