1. An arrangement for securing a vertical panel in a longitudinal groove opened vertically upwards for receiving a lower edge of the panel, the panel comprising an inner face and an outer face, the securing being carried out by transverse tightening between transversely opposed wedges, the arrangement comprising:
at least one first upper outer wedge and at least one second lower outer wedge which are each interposed between a vertical outer face of the groove and the vertical outer face of the panel, each of the outer wedges being mounted so as to slide vertically in the groove between a released position and a tight position between the outer face of the groove and the outer face of the panel;
at least two movable transmission members which are interposed between the edge of the panel and a bottom of the groove and which are each adapted to transmit a sliding force to an associated outer wedge applied from an inner side of the panel;
wherein the upper and lower outer wedges slide vertically upwards from their one released position to their tight position located above the released position.
