1. A cutting implement for cooking comprising:
an acting portion configured to cut a food material, wherein
the acting portion includes a main body portion and a small thickness portion having a thickness smaller than a thickness of the main body portion,
the main body portion has a thickness of 0.6 to 3.0 mm, and
a section of the small thickness portion has a width of 4 to 16 mm and a thickness of 0.1 to 0.5 mm, wherein
the small thickness portion includes an edge portion, and
the section of the small thickness portion uniformly extends toward the edge portion, and the thickness of the section of the small thickness portion is not reduced toward the edge portion, such that, in a cross-section of the small thickness portion, the section of the small thickness portion has opposite surfaces in the cross-section that are parallel with each other.
