1. A system comprising:
a hearing device configured to:
identify one or more components, of an input audio signal, according to one or more criteria related to a field-of-view associated with a user of the system, wherein the input audio signal comprises a left channel and a right channel; and
suppress at least one of the one or more components of the audio signal to generate an output audio signal, wherein the suppression is processed according to a characteristic of the one or more components, as perceived by the user, when the user is receiving the output audio signal.
