1. An implantable stent comprising:
a plurality of struts extending along a longitudinal axis of the implantable stent, the plurality of struts includes first and second pairs of struts;
a first cross link defined by a distal strut end of each of the first pair of struts;
a second cross link defined by a distal strut end of each of the second pair of struts;
a first electrode positioned at the first cross link and a second electrode positioned at the second cross link, wherein the first and second cross links define a plane offset by an oblique angle with respect to the longitudinal axis; and
a first conductor and a second conductor, where the first conductor and the second conductor are embedded within the plurality of struts.
