1. A method of bending or cutting an implant using an instrument, comprising:
positioning an implant between first and second portions of a bending or cutting template of the instrument; and
rotating a drive shaft of the instrument to urge the first and second portions of the template toward one another along a longitudinal axis of the drive shaft to bend or cut the implant,
wherein rotating the drive shaft comprises selecting between rotating the drive shaft in a first direction to bend the implant proximally and rotating the drive shaft in a second, opposite direction to bend the implant distally.
