1. A device, comprising:
a processing system including a processor; and
a memory that stores executable instructions that, when executed by the processing system, facilitate performance of operations, the operations comprising:
classifying each of a plurality of geographical locations in accordance with a geocoding of the plurality of geographical locations to obtain a plurality of classifications;
identifying costs associated with a plurality of infrastructure located at the plurality of geographical locations;
generating a list of locations where infrastructure included in the plurality of infrastructure should be decommissioned based in part on a classification of a geographic location corresponding to each location in the list of locations and the costs associated with the infrastructure at the location; and
presenting the list of locations, a modified list corresponding to a modification of the list of locations, or a combination thereof, on an output device.

12. A non-transitory, machine-readable medium, comprising executable instructions that, when executed by a processing system including a processor, facilitate performance of operations, the operations comprising:
classifying each of a plurality of geographical locations in accordance with a geocoding of the plurality of geographical locations to obtain a plurality of classifications;
identifying costs associated with a plurality of infrastructure located at the plurality of geographical locations;
generating a list of locations where infrastructure included in the plurality of infrastructure should be decommissioned based in part on a classification of a geographic location corresponding to each location in the list of locations and the costs associated with the infrastructure at the location; and
presenting the list of locations, a modified list corresponding to a modification of the list of locations, or a combination thereof, on a device.

17. A method, comprising:
classifying, by a processing system including a processor, each of a plurality of geographical areas in accordance with a geocoding of the plurality of geographical areas to obtain a plurality of classifications;
identifying, by the processing system, costs associated with a plurality of network infrastructure located at the plurality of geographical areas;
generating, by the processing system, a list of locations where network infrastructure included in the plurality of network infrastructure should be decommissioned based in part on a classification of a geographic location corresponding to each location in the list of locations and the costs associated with the network infrastructure at the location; and
outputting, by the processing system, the list of locations, a modified list corresponding to a modification of the list of locations, or a combination thereof, on an output device.
