1. A communication apparatus, comprising:
circuitry configured to:
acquire first information from a base station via wireless communication;
acquire second information, wherein the second information is different from the first information; and
select one of orthogonal multiple access (OMA) communication or non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) communication for communication with the base station, wherein
the selection of the one of the OMA communication or the NOMA communication is based on each of the acquired first information and the acquired second information,
the acquired second information implicitly designates the one of the OMA communication or the NOMA communication,
the acquired second information includes information indicating a type of a slot associated with transmission to the base station,
the OMA communication is a third step of a 4-step RACH procedure in which the communication apparatus transmits data required for initialization to the base station,
the data is transmitted using resources granted in a second step of the 4-step RACH procedure, and
the NOMA communication is a first step of a 2-step RACH procedure in which the communication apparatus transmits each of a preamble and the data required for the initialization to the base station.
