1. A method for inspecting an asset in a communication-denied environment, the method comprising:
receiving, via an electronic device, an image of a dashboard of the asset, wherein the image is received during a communication-denied period;
determining, based on the image, a working mode and one or more status identifiers of the asset, wherein the one or more status identifiers correspond to a status of the asset in the working mode;
when a communication environment is available, transmitting the working mode and the one or more status identifiers to an inspection system, wherein the transmitting includes:
confirming sufficiency of the communication environment to transmit,
receiving an acknowledgement of the transmission without error, or
queuing multiple transmissions when more than one working mode and/or status identifier is selected for transmission; and
in response to the transmitting, receiving information regarding the status of the asset based on the transmitted working mode and one or more status identifiers.
