1. A system comprising:
a computing system communicable with at least one thermostat for a space, the computing system configured to:
define a first temperature range for a normal operating mode;
define a second temperature range for a peak savings mode;
operate in the normal operating mode by performing an optimization process to determine temperature setpoints predicted to maintain a temperature of the space within the first temperature range;
receive an indication from a source of an occurrence of a peak period; and
operate in the peak savings mode for the peak period by performing the optimization process to determine temperature setpoints predicted to maintain the temperature of the space within the second temperature range during the peak period.
