1. A non-transitory computer readable storage medium comprising instructions that when executed by a processor of an electronic device cause the processor to:
display a first screen on a display panel of the electronic device, the first screen is to include a highlight indicator and a menu option displayed in the highlight indicator;
receive a selection of the menu option; and
in response to receiving the selection, perform a screen transition from the first screen to a second screen to:
remove the highlight indicator of the first screen from the display panel;
place a first highlight indicator and a second highlight indicator of the second screen on the display panel, the first highlight indicator being a contracted version of the highlight indicator to accommodate an addition of the second highlight indicator to the display panel; and
display a submenu option in the first highlight indicator and an option to seek confirmation of a user selection of the submenu option in the second highlight indicator, wherein the submenu option is associated with the selected menu option.
