1. An image processing apparatus comprising:
at least one processor and at least one memory which function as: an obtaining unit configured to obtain album information forming a plurality of albums; and an editing unit configured to, in accordance with receiving an instruction to add a double-page spread to a first album among the plurality of albums, add a double-page spread also to an album other than the first album among the plurality of albums,
wherein attributes of double-page spreads in the plurality of albums include a first type attribute which indicates a common double-page spread common to all of the plurality of albums and a second type attribute which indicates an individual double-page spread different in each of the plurality of albums,
wherein the editing unit, in accordance with receiving an instruction to add a double-page spread of the first type attribute to the first album, adds a double-page spread to an identical page position in both the first album and a second album among the plurality of albums,
wherein the editing unit, in accordance with receiving an instruction to add a double-page spread of the second type attribute to the first album, adds a double-page spread to a first page position in the first album and adds a double-page spread based on main subject information corresponding to the second album to a second page position in the second album, and
wherein the first page position is different from the second page position.
