1. An automated test equipment for testing one or more devices under test, the automated test equipment comprising:
at least one port processing unit, comprising:
a high-speed-input-output interface (HSIO) for coupling with at least one of the one or more devices under test;
a memory for storing data received from one or more coupled devices under test; and
a streaming error detection block configured to detect a command error in data received from the one or more coupled devices under test,
wherein the port processing unit is configured to: responsive to a detection of the command error, limit the storing into the memory of data received following a command that caused the detection of the command error.
