1. An ice maker comprising:
a first tray defining a plurality of first chambers;
a first casing configured to fix the first tray; and
a second tray defining a plurality of second chambers, the plurality of second chambers being configured to contact the plurality of first chambers to thereby define a plurality of ice chambers,
wherein the first tray comprises:
a tray body that defines the plurality of first chamber, the tray body defining a plurality of first openings in communication with the plurality of first chambers, respectively, and
an extension that extends from a perimeter of the tray body and contacts the first casing, and
wherein the first tray defines a receiving space recessed from the extension of the first tray,
wherein the first casing comprises:
a plate coupled to the extension of the first tray, the plate comprising a cavity portion that is accommodated in the receiving space of the first tray, and
a shield that extends radially from the cavity portion, and
wherein the shield is configured to cover a part of the tray body and to expose another part of the tray body surrounding at least one of the plurality of first openings.

15. A refrigerator comprising:
a cabinet defining a storage space; and
an ice maker provided in the storage space,
wherein the ice maker comprises:
a first tray defining a plurality of first chambers,
a first casing configured to fix the first tray, and
a second tray defining a plurality of second chambers, the plurality of second chambers being configured to contact the plurality of first chambers to thereby define a plurality of ice chambers,
wherein the first tray comprises:
a tray body that defines the plurality of first chambers, the tray body defining a plurality of first openings in communication with the plurality of first chambers, respectively, and
an extension that extends from a perimeter of the tray body and contacts the first casing,
wherein the first tray defines a receiving space recessed from the extension of the first tray,
wherein the first casing comprises:
a plate coupled to the extension of the first tray, the plate comprising a cavity portion that is accommodated in the receiving space, and
a shield that extends radially from the cavity portion, and
wherein the shield is configured to cover a part of the tray body and to expose another part of the tray body surrounding at least one of the plurality of first openings.
