18 Claims

1. A method of making an article from glass-ceramic comprising precipitates of formula M_xWO₃and/or M_xMoO₃, where 0<x<1 and M is a dopant cation, the method comprising:

bleaching a region of the glass-ceramic such that the bleached region has a lesser concentration of the precipitates than adjoining glass-ceramic.
