1. A baseband processor, comprising:
an interface circuit configured to communicate with a radio frequency (RF) circuit;
a baseband circuit, coupled to the interface circuit, configured to process baseband signals associated with the RF circuit; and
control logic, coupled to the interface circuit and the baseband circuit, configured to execute program instructions, wherein, when the control logic executes the program instructions, the baseband processor is configured to:
provide, addressed to an electronic device in a wireless communication system, information comprising a measurement configuration associated with the wireless communication system;
conduct, with the electronic device, a secondary cell (SCell) activation procedure of an SCell, wherein the SCell activation procedure comprises:
providing, addressed to the electronic device, the SCell activation; and
receiving, associated with the electronic device, channel state information (CSI) of a narrow beam pattern of the SCell that is to be activated, wherein the narrow beam pattern is narrower than a wide beam pattern of the electronic device, and the narrow beam pattern is based at least in part on measurements performed using the narrow beam pattern; and
provide, addressed to the electronic device, a transmission configuration indicator (TCI) activation, wherein the TCI activation is provided no later than the receiving of the CSI of the narrow beam pattern of the SCell.
