1. A computer-implemented system for a proctored examination platform for a medical diagnostic test, the computer-implemented system comprising:
an electronic storage medium of a computing system, the electronic storage medium comprising computer-executable instructions;
one or more processors of the computing system, the one or more processors in electronic communication with the electronic storage medium, the one or more processors in electronic communication through an electronic network with a user computing device, the one or more processors configured to execute the computer-executable instructions stored in the electronic storage medium for implementing the proctored examination platform for the medical diagnostic test by:
receiving, by the computing system, a request for a proctored examination session for a medical diagnostic test from the user computing device;
establishing, by the computing system, the proctored examination session between the user device and a proctor device of a proctor;
receiving, by the computing system, first image data and second image data, the first image data received from a first imaging device of the user device, the second image data from a second imaging device of the user device, wherein the user device is supported by a stand which orients the user device, wherein the stand and the user device are positioned so that the first image data comprises at least a view of a user and the second image data comprises at least a view of at least one testing material of a test kit for the medical diagnostic test;
generating, by the computing system, user display data for display to the user on a user graphical user interface on a display of the user device, the user display data comprising one of the first image data and the second image data, wherein the one of the first image data and the second image data is selected automatically by the computing system based on a current step of the medical diagnostic test;
determining, by the computing system a strength of a network connection of the user device;
determining, by the computing system, that the strength of the network connection of the user device is below a threshold value;
determining, by the computing system, that a proctor-less continuation of the medical diagnostic test is possible;
upon determining that the strength of network connection of the user device is below the threshold value, initiating, by the computing system on the user device, a recording of the proctored examination session comprising recorded first image data and recorded second image data;
permitting, by the computing system, the proctor-less continuation of the medical diagnostic test on the user device;
determining, by the computing system, that the strength of the network connection of the user is above the threshold value;
upon determining that the strength of the network connection of the user is above the threshold value, instructing, by the computing system, the user device to stop the recording of the proctored examination session;
receiving, by the computing system, the recording of the proctored examination session;
generating, by the computing system, proctor display data for display to the proctor on a proctor graphical user interface on a display of the proctor device, the proctor display data comprising:
the first image data and the recorded first image data received from the first imaging device,
the second image data and the recorded second image data received from the second imaging device, and
information associated with the medical diagnostic test;
transmitting, from the computing system over the electronic network, the user display data to the user device for display on the user graphical user interface on the display of the user device; and
transmitting, from the computing system, the proctor display data to the proctor device for display on the proctor graphical user interface on the display of the proctor device;
whereby the user performs at least one step of the medical diagnostic test based on the user display data and the proctor monitors performance of the at least one step of the medical diagnostic test based on the proctor display data.
