1. A chip recognition system for recognizing chips on a game table which has a plurality of playing positions for players and has one or more betting areas comprising a plurality of betting target areas including a player area, a banker area, a tie area, and a pair area, the chip recognition system comprising:
a camera positioned above the game table such that a direction of an optical axis of the camera is positioned at an angle to a top surface of the game table, and which is configured to capture an image of the game table including one or more of the betting areas and chips wagered on the one or more betting areas; and
an image recognition device configured to:
recognize, based on the image and using artificial intelligence technology or a neural network, the one or more betting target areas, and a type and number of chips placed on the game table; and
transmit information associated with the one or more betting target areas and the type and number of chips recognized by the image recognition device to a management device;
wherein the one or more betting target areas and the type and number of chips recognized by the image recognition device enables the management device manage a bet amount on the game table.
