1. A method comprising:
reading, at a processor, a configuration packet associated with a compute operation, wherein the compute operation includes a speech signal processing operation;
reading data stored in a buffer, the data associated with at least one memory address read from the configuration packet;
performing, at the processor, a portion of the compute operation for a data flow associated with the configuration packet to generate a processing result, wherein the processing result corresponds to a component of human speech;
comparing the processing result to data stored in a memory; and
determining whether the processing result matches data stored in memory to complete the data flow, wherein the data stored in memory corresponds a phoneme,
based on the determination providing the processing result to the memory or another processor.
