1. A method, comprising:
a. providing a sample comprising one or more analytes;
b. concentrating or transporting said one or more analytes by isotachophoresis (ITP) in a channel; wherein a surface of said channel comprises a silicon substrate,
wherein said silicon substrate comprises an insulating layer over a surface of said silicon substrate, wherein said channel comprises probes arranged in an array, and wherein probes in a single feature of said array comprise at least two species of probes; and
c. detecting signals associated with binding of at least a subset of the one or more analytes to the probes, such that signals associated with said single feature of said array are integrated into a single resolution element.
