1. A method of producing a resin modifier, the method comprising a process of polymerizing an ethylene unsaturated monomer to form a polymer in the presence of a cellulose nanofiber, the cellulose nanofiher being reacted with an amine or a quaternary ammonium salt compound, wherein the polymer of the ethylene unsaturated monomer has a weight-average molecular weight of from 5,000 to 3,000,000.
