a main body comprising a first thickness between 0.3 and 0.5 mm;
a rim portion, arranged around a rim of the swimming cap, comprising a second thickness greater than the first thickness; and
two overhang portions configured to be arranged symmetrically on either side of a spine of a wearer and a recess configured to be arranged in proximity to the spine.
