1. A method, comprising:
obtaining a data packet, wherein the data packet comprises a physical layer frame header and a protocol data unit (PDU), wherein the physical layer frame header is modulated using a first digital modulation scheme, wherein a first modulation rate of the first digital modulation scheme is equal to a value of a data transmission rate, wherein the PDU is modulated using a second digital modulation scheme, wherein a second modulation rate of the second digital modulation scheme is less than the value, wherein the data transmission rate is N times the second modulation rate, and wherein N is an integer greater than 1; and
sending the data packet on a physical channel at the data transmission rate.
