1. A named function network (NFN) system comprising:
a routing node that receives an interest packet that includes a request for a new function, the requests including data values for generating the new function;
a function generation node that receives the data values from the routing node and generates the new function for the NFN using the data values; and
a server node configured to:
receive a request from the routing node to execute the new function;
execute the new function; and
transmit a data packet that includes results of the execution to the routing node.
