1. A wireless power receiver comprising:
a power pick-up circuit being configured to receive wireless power from a wireless power transmitter being equipped with a primary coil via magnetic coupling with the wireless power transmitter in an operating frequency and to convert an alternating current signal being generated by the wireless power to a direct current signal; and
a communication/control circuit being configured to perform out-band communication with the wireless power transmitter using frequencies other than the operating frequency and configured to control reception of the wireless power,
wherein the wireless power receiver is configured to:
transmit, to the wireless power transmitter, a configuration (CFG) packet,
wherein the CFG packet includes an out-band packet informing whether the out-band communication is supported;
establish a connection of the out-band communication with the wireless power transmitter;
receive, from the wireless power transmitter, a firmware transmission request through the out-band communication; and
transmit, to the wireless power transmitter, firmware information through the out-band communication,
wherein the wireless power receiver and the wireless power transmitter exchange the firmware information which is longer than a maximum transmission unit (MTU) based on repeating a blob request and a blob response by increasing an offset value as much as the MTU.
