1. An apparatus comprising:
a power-managed load;
a power management circuit coupled to the power-managed load and configured to supply power to the power-managed load;
an undervoltage detect circuit configured to detect undervoltage events at the power-managed load;
a current monitor circuit configured to detect current to the power-managed load that exceeds a specified threshold; and
a control circuit coupled to the undervoltage detect circuit and the current monitor circuit, wherein the control circuit includes a plurality of state machines, and wherein the control circuit is configured to, using ones of the plurality of state machines, coordinate a compensation mechanism triggered by the undervoltage detect circuit using a first one of the plurality of state machines with a compensation mechanism triggered by the current monitor circuit using a second one of the plurality of state machines when the undervoltage detect circuit and the current monitor circuit are responding to a same change in operation of the power-managed load.
