1. A system comprising:
a plurality of computing systems, wherein the plurality of computing systems receive behind-the-meter (“BTM”) power from a utility scale power generation station with a power generation capacity of at least 50 MW that is capable of providing power to an electrical grid, wherein the BTM power is received without flowing through the electrical grid;
a first set controller configured to control power consumption among a first set of computing systems of the plurality of computing systems without disabling power to the first set of computing systems;
a second set controller configured to control power consumption among a second set of computing systems of the plurality of computing systems without disabling power to the second set of computing systems; and
a group controller communicatively coupled to the first set controller and the second set controller, wherein the group controller is configured to provide instructions to the first set controller and the second set controller to adjust power consumption based on BTM power availability at the plurality of computing systems directly from the power generation station,
wherein the first set controller and the second set controller are configured to operate the respective first set of computing systems and the respective second set of computing systems only intermittently when BTM power from the utility scale power generation station is available to supply power to the respective first and second sets of computing systems.
