1. A system comprising:
a central control unit;
a plurality of photovoltaic direct current (DC) power sources configured to generate DC power; and
one or more transmitters configured to transmit signals to one or more receivers, wherein the central control unit is configured to alert a potential theft of one or more of the plurality of photovoltaic DC power sources based on determining that a signal strength associated with a received signal is below a threshold signal strength.
