1. An infrared (IR) imaging system comprising:
at least two spatially and spectrally different optical channels;
a plurality of cameras;
a first temperature-controlled reference source imaged by the plurality of cameras;
a second temperature-controlled reference source imaged by the plurality of cameras;
a first temperature-controlled shutter and a second temperature-controlled shutter removably positioned to block IR radiation incident on the IR imaging system from reaching the plurality of cameras; and
a data-processing unit comprising a processor, said data-processing unit configured to:
dynamically calibrate the plurality of cameras so that the plurality of cameras imaging a scene generate matching temperature estimates of the first temperature-controlled reference source or the second temperature-controlled reference source.
