1. A fluid connector for substantially aseptic connection, said connector comprising:
a connector member having a connection end and a coupling end, wherein the coupling end comprises a coupling element for engaging a complementary coupling element of a complementary connector to form a first seal, and
a cover arranged to enclose the coupling end for providing an aseptic seal that separates the coupling end from a surrounding, the cover comprising at least two cover portions, wherein each cover portion comprises a respective seal member configured to aseptically engage with another seal member of the secondary connector to form a seal, and wherein each cover portion is configured to be successively positioned such that a new second seal can be formed when a fresh cover portion is deployed on or adjacent the coupling end of the connector member.
