1. A method of bulk polymerization, the method comprising:
mixing, in a first reactor, a pro-catalyst, in the absence of electron donor and cocatalyst, with liquid propylene to form a pro-catalyst mixture that comprises unreacted liquid propylene and is substantially free of any C20 or greater hydrocarbons;
feeding the pro-catalyst mixture into a second reactor via a feed stream;
feeding a stream of liquid propylene, a stream of electron donor, and a stream of cocatalyst separately into the second reactor to provide a catalyst mixture;
activating the catalyst mixture, in the second reactor or in a further polymerization reactor, at a temperature sufficiently low as to not polymerize or prepolymerize the propylene; and
performing the polymerization in the polymerization reactor,
wherein said mixing is carried out at a temperature of about room temperature to −48° C. and a pressure sufficient to ensure the presence of liquid propylene in the first reactor.
