1. A benzene ring-containing glucose derivative of formula (I):

wherein one or two R1 are located on a benzene ring in formula (I);
the one or two R1 are each independently

when there is one R1, R1 is on 3-position or 4-position of the benzene ring in formula (I); when there are two R1, the two R1 are on 3-position and 4-position of the benzene ring, respectively;
R3 is hydrogen;
m is 0 or 1; and custom character represents chemical bonding between R1 and the benzene ring in formula (I);
R2 is hydrogen;
n is 0, 1 or 2; and
when m=0 and n=1, R1 is not on the 4-position of the benzene ring.
