1. A surgical instrument, comprising: a first jaw coupled to a distal end of a first jaw arm and a first jaw handle coupled to a proximal end of the first jaw arm opposite the distal end of the first jaw arm; a second jaw coupled to a distal end of a second jaw arm and a second jaw handle coupled to a proximal end of the second jar arm opposite the distal end of the second jar arm, wherein the first jaw arm and the second jaw arm are pivotally coupled at a joint located between the respective distal and proximal ends and are rotatable about the joint to cause the first jaw and the second jaw to move between an open configuration and a closed configuration; an electrode disposed on at least one of the first jaw and the second jaw, wherein the electrode is configured to deliver first energy to tissue positioned between the first jaw and the second jaw; and a probe movable relative to the electrode and the first jaw handle or the second jaw handle between an extended configuration and a retracted configuration, wherein the probe is retractable from the extended configuration into a housing of the first or second jaw arm, wherein the probe is configured to deliver second energy to tissue, and wherein the second energy comprises nontherapeutic energy for providing electrical stimulation to tissue.
