1. An orthopedic drill bit, comprising:
a shaft extending along an axis and positioned within a body; and
a cutting tip pivotally mounted to said shaft and moveable between a cutting tip first position where said cutting tip is aligned along said axis and a cutting tip second position where said cutting tip is perpendicular to said axis, the body being interlocked with the shaft via a track on one of the body or the shaft accepting a pin extending from the other of the body or the shaft, wherein relative movement of the body and the shaft is controlled by the pin being accepted by the track and moveable therewithin between a pin first position and a pin second position.
