1. A computing system comprising:
at least one processor; and
at least one tangible, non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising program instructions that are executable by the at least one processor such that the computing system is configured to:
determine that a first networked microphone device has switched from a first microphone state to a second microphone state; and
after determining that the first networked microphone device has switched from the first microphone state to the second microphone state, transmit one or more communications to a second networked microphone device, wherein the one or more communications are configured to cause the second networked microphone device to switch from the first microphone state to the second microphone state.
