1. A method comprising:
receiving, from a user, a request to engage in an
activity; acquiring identifying information relating to
the user;
determining, based at least in part on security preferences restricting one or more times of a day when the activity can take place and a number of logon attempts that are permitted for the activity based on the one or more times of the day, an activity trust threshold required for the activity,
wherein the one or more times of the day are based on previous times that the user has performed the activity;
determining, based on the identifying information relating to the user and a successful logon attempt, by the user, within the number of logon attempts permitted for the activity, an identity trust score for the user;
comparing the identity trust score with the activity trust threshold required for the activity; and
in response to the identity trust score meeting or exceeding the activity trust threshold in the comparing, allowing the user to engage in the activity.
