1. Remote monitoring system for a cargo area intended to accommodate at least one passenger of an aeroplane, comprising:
at least one control member comprising a sensor, the sensor comprising at least one of:
an automatic presence sensor;
a force sensor;
a microwave sensor; and/or
a gas flow sensor,
wherein the sensor is configured to generate at least one signal relating to the safety of the at least one passenger present in the cargo area by at least one of:
checking a state of a belt of the at least one passenger;
checking a use of an oxygen mask by the at least one passenger;
and/or
monitoring health of the at least one passenger;
wherein the status of the belt, the use of the oxygen mask, and/or the health of the passenger is detected by the sensor, and
at least one interface means intended to be situated at a distance from the cargo area and making it possible for a member of cabin crew to have access to information relating to the cargo area and/or to the passenger present in the cargo area on the basis of the signal,
the signal relating to the safety of the passenger being forwarded to the cabin crew through the interface,
wherein the at least one passenger is a person.
