1. A power tool system, the system comprising:
a removable battery pack;
a first tool, the first tool including a first base housing that is selectively engageable with the removable battery pack and a first tool working portion connected to the first base housing by a first connecting section configured to allow the first tool working portion to move relative to the first base housing and perform work away from the first base housing;
wherein the first base housing houses a first controller that provides a proportional power delivery system for the first tool;
wherein the first base housing further comprises a first actuator for providing user control of the first tool working portion;
a second tool, the second tool including a second base housing that is selectively engageable with the removable battery pack and a second tool working portion connected to the second base housing by a second connecting section configured to allow the second tool working portion to move relative to the second base housing and perform work away from the second base housing;
wherein the second base housing houses a second controller that provides a proportional power delivery system for the second tool;
wherein the second base housing further comprises a second actuator for providing user control of the second tool working portion;
wherein the removable battery pack serves as a weighted base for the first tool when the removable battery pack is engaged with the first base housing such that the removable battery pack may be placed on a flat horizontal surface and remain in place.
