1. A method of providing neuromodulation to a patient via a medical-device system, the method comprising:
receiving brain activity signals sensed from the patient in response to neuromodulation delivered in accordance with respective candidate therapy settings;
calculating a brain activity score from each of the received brain activity signals;
selecting a therapy setting from the candidate therapy settings based at least in part on the calculated brain activity scores, the selected therapy setting including a distribution of neuromodulation energy over multiple neuromodulation sites; and
initiating or adjusting a neuromodulation therapy in accordance with the selected therapy setting.
