1. A brush, comprising:
a core section including at least two leg members twisted about one another in a helical configuration, the core section having a proximal end, a distal end, and a core section tip formed on the distal end, wherein the core section is formed from a metal or metal alloy, and wherein the core section tip includes a material that is homogeneous with the core section; and
a plurality of discs slidably received on the core section, the plurality of discs extending axially along the core section to define a brush head, each disc including a hub body with an aperture formed therethrough to encompass a portion of the core section and a pair of opposing axially-facing surfaces, each axially-facing surface including a continuous alternating pattern of grooves and lands formed circumferentially thereabout, and a plurality of spaced tines extending radially from the hub body, wherein the alternating pattern of grooves and lands on the opposing axially-facing surfaces of each hub of a disc are configured to interface in a complementary arrangement with the grooves and lands of an axially facing surface of a hub body from an adjacent disc, the interfacing complementary arrangement between the grooves and lands on the axially facing surfaces of adjacent hub bodies collectively couples the plurality of discs together, inhibiting rotational movement of the discs.
